There’s no denying it: Spring is on the way. This Whole Fruit Pineapple, Raspberry, & Citrus Punch is sugar free and perfect for the warmer days that are forthcoming!
Is anyone else dreaming of picnics, flowers, and the sound of birds singing in the window? I sure am, and just because Valentine’s Day has come and will be gone tomorrow, doesn’t mean we have to tuck our love of pink away from the kitchen! In one of my favorite childhood books, Anne Shirley says that,
“I love bright red drinks, don’t you? They taste twice as good as any other color.”
Anne Shirley, I feel that way about every brightly colored drink, especially this one. Michael described this as a liquid ‘Sweet Tart’, and I agree. But the best part is the lovely feeling that you’re drinking something delicious minus all the sugar.
That’s right, juice without sugar! This drink is all fruit, and no refined sugar!
Full of tangy citrus flavor, and the juiciness of the ever-sweet golden pineapple, this juice is turned a lovely shade of pink by a tiny addition of freeze-dried raspberries.
The pineapple lends most of the sweetness, but for those of us who don’t appreciate the citrus sourness, you can use agave nectar or honey to further sweeten the drink!
And although it’s still technically Winter, a glass of this Whole Fruit Punch will remind you of Spring breezes and Summer lounges by the beach.
