This October, we had a Friday the Thirteenth – a day notorious for spooky omens, and scary movies. Today, on Hallows Eve, it’s the perfect time to test out delicious and dark cocktails for your impending October Thirty-First celebrations tomorrow night. What’s darker than blackberries and black cherry soda?
I have my favorite Halloween specials and movies: anything Casper related, the original Amityville Horror, and more recently, It. (It was filmed in the GTA!).
This dark cocktail is sweet and strong with a whisper of vanilla vodka and deliciously rich Chambord. This is definitely a cocktail for connoisseurs of sweet berry flavors.
If you love the spooky glass and want to stock up for tomorrow, run to your nearest William Sonoma!
Although I’ll be unable to celebrate Halloween tomorrow evening, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the limitless creativity of my fellow food bloggers.
