Pinterest is one of my favorite ways to spend time (and if you’re like me, you probably spend TOO much time on it), and I realized soon after I started R&M Cooks that Pinterest was my best friend when it came to wrangling a higher amount of traffic to my blog.
I set to work on creating bold beautiful images that would be eye catching, but also realized that it had to be easy for a blog visitor to pin one of my posts. One of the ways to make it easier was to create a hovering graphic for the images in each post. If you want to learn how to do that without coding, keep reading!
Step 1: Create your Pin It Graphic
I used Canva and Photoshop to create my Pin It Graphic (it can be anything that you create). Alternatively, you can use the default image that comes with the plugin that you will be downloading! The size of my images are 200 px by 200 px. You may want to make the background transparent on Photoshop using the magic wand tool!
Step 2: Install the jQuery Pin It Button for Images
Step 3: Uploading the Image
And you’re done! This is a great way to promote the pinning of your posts!
